Background
Organizations often face fragmented workflows, leading to inefficiencies, missed deadlines, and miscommunication between teams. Traditional tools struggle with siloed information, resulting in duplicated work and poor resource utilization. Intralign aims to resolve these issues by:
• Automatically aligning tasks with strategic goals.
• Suggesting resource reallocation based on performance data.
• Providing predictive insights for optimizing team collaboration and minimizing bottlenecks.

Research & Planning
I collaborated closely with the UX researcher to understand the needs of business managers, team leads, and operational heads who would use Intralign. We conducted a multi-faceted research approach to gather insights into how users interact with current workflow tools and where they encounter friction points.
Design & Flow
I developed detailed personas representing key user types based on the research findings:
• Primary Persona: A 40-year-old operations manager responsible for ensuring multiple teams work together efficiently. They need a tool that provides both a macro view of overall project progress and granular insights into individual team member performance.
• Secondary Persona: A 30-year-old team lead managing day-to-day tasks who wants a tool that helps them prioritize tasks automatically and ensures their team is working on high-impact items aligned with company goals.
Ideation & Conceptualization
Based on the personas, I focused on designing user flows that would allow users to:
• Automatically align tasks with strategic business goals.
• Monitor team performance in real-time with AI-powered insights.
• Reallocate resources and adjust project timelines based on predictive analysis.
Development Collaboration
• Delivered design tokens and Figma Dev Mode for consistency
• Created interaction specs and micro-interaction libraries
• Used Lottie for lightweight animations in AI modules
Testing & Optimization
Conducted 3 rounds of testing with:
• Internal team
• 5 early access users
Key Feedback & Iterations:
• Initial AI summaries were too verbose → Added tone/length settings
• Users wanted visual indicators of confidence in insights → Added traffic-light indicators
• Confusion over terminology (“Alignment Score”) → Switched to “Clarity Score” with tooltip
The final product was a user-friendly AI-powered workflow optimization tool that significantly improved project alignment and team collaboration. Key outcomes included:
